1. We discussed the strike issue and the train issue.
2. The Pullman group offered to reinstate one of the union workers. We had trouble negotiating with some groups because our character didn't have the funds to grant some wishes.
3.Jennie and Debs both wanted us to lower rents or raise wages. We do not have the funds to do this, so it was difficult. I understand their point though.
4.We got the trains running again (without Pullman cars) Sad
5. We did pretty well. Today's negotiation has made me excited to see the resolution and solutions of it tomorrow.
6.Hopefully we can all come to an understanding...

1. As mentioned before, we discussed the issues of trains and reinstatement. We came to a compromise on trains, but have not agreed about the wages, rents, or the fate of the grievance committee.

2. My group, representing Eugene V. Debs, argued that the ARU was willing to run any train without a Pullman car, that George Pullman should lower rents and raise wages, and that the workers on the grievance committee should be rehired immediately.

3. Our opposition, George Pullman, had a fairly weak argument that was mostly smoke and mirrors. He contradicted himself and on one occasion flat-out lied in the presence of irrefutable evidence. Our ally and two neutral players are still torn in their allegiance. Olney and St. John just want the railroads to start running again, and Curtis wants higher wages and lower rent.

4. We came to an agreement on one of the three issues. Hopefully we can compromise on the others when we next meet.

5. I am satisfied with the negotiations, but I think we need all members of the groups to share their input.

6. I have no idea what will happen next, but Eugene V. Debs vows to fight for the rights of workers.

1. We talked about the economy depression which resulted workers strike the pullman. Also, we talked about the train issue.

2. The main point of our group was the wages problem but we didn't talk about it today, but our group represented that the train should working in order to overcome the economy depression, so workers could work again.

3. Some groups have similar opinions with us, but some didn't especially pullman's group. Their group was our main opponent to us. Other groups agreed to run the train till the strike ends, but only pullman's group disagreed.

4. i agreed with solution.

5. I satisfied with today's negotiation; however, i think that the more important issue is wages problem.

6. Therefore, we should talk about wages and rent problem which is main problem of strike

1. We discussed about whether let the trains to run or keep them ceased.
2. My group agreed that the trains should run again, because this issue dosen't directly related to our problem, and we agreed that train is necessary to boost the economy.
3. No one disagreed with it, even Eugene Debs, who wants to demonstrate the power of workers. Espically Richard Olney highly agreed to run the trains again, saying that he will put militrary force unless the trains run again soon.
4. Every group agreed to run the train again, but we will take Pullman's car aside, until his and Jennie Curtis' problem is solved.
5. Personally I'm not satisfied. I think we need to solve the very basic problem first. Everything including train strike are caused by Pullman workers' strike, and this strike is caused by high building wage and low salary. I think the right process for solving this crisis is solving this problem first. Also, I hoped that Eugene Debs to keep the trains stop. This way, he(maybe thay:D)could show the workers' power against the employers. By agreeing to re-run the train, they just discarded precious opportunity to demonstrate united workers' power.
6. Tomorrow, we may discuss about keeping the organization of worker, or focus on conflict between Pullman and his workers, dealing about building wage and salary.

1. We discussed about the issue of reinstatement first but we found out that to solve the issue of train instead would make the discussion more in order.
2. Our group(Eugene Debs) made a clarify that the ARU workers were willing to pull any trian without Pullman cars and so do the mail cars.
3.Mr. Pullman was the one who disagree with us the most and many of them were support that Pullman fired the three workers join the commitee.
4. The train would keep running without Pullman cars.
5.I think the negotiation went pretty well today although a little bit messy at first but after Jane Addams oganized it went very fluent. Laughing And I am satisfied with the outcome which was our goal.
6.I am sure that there will be a lot of conflicts between each groups, hopelly we will figure out some solutions. Wink

1. What issues were discussed today?
We discussed two of the three main issues, reinstatement of greivence workers and the issues of the trains.
2. What main points did your group offer?
We talked about letting trains run again except pullman cars as well as immediately reinstating the workers immediately.
3. How did the othe groups respond? What were their main points?
most groups agreed to our ideas except George Pullman who is almost against everybody.
4. What was the outcome?
George gave in to our demands in the end but still we need discuss wages and rent today.
5. Are you satisfied with today's negotiation? What one thing could you and your group could have done differently to improve the outcome? What could another group have done better?
I love how the discussion is going now and hope it continues to handle as well as it did.
6. What do you think will happen next?
i think George will come around in the end but we will have to sacrifice alot

1. We discussed issues on compromising, so that the trains can run and issues surrounding rehiring fired pullman workers.
2.My group offered the fact that the fired workers were apart of the union.
3. Other groups responded by stating that lots of workers were laid off and the workers who were apart of the union just happen to some of the people fired.
4. The outcome was that we all agreed to a compromise.
5. I am satisfied with today's negotiations, but my group couldv'e brought in more facts to aid our argument. I also feel as though other groups could've been more understanding of our issues.
6.I think we will debate the issue of wages next, which will lead to further conflicts amongst the groups.

I thought that the overall Industrial Revolution Convention was kind of scattered. The two Jane Addams representatives told each group to have one rep. for all the hand raising. No one really followed this rule.
The issues that we discussed at the Convention were the trains. My group, Debbs, really wanted rights for the workers even though the country depended on Pullman cars. Every group [Pullman, Debs, St. John, Olney, Curtis] discussed percentages of how much Pullman would reduce the rent for the workers. That was very difficult because it was hard to define how much workers needed for everyday supplies.
I thought the acticivty was fun though because it was basically like a game to get groups on your side.

i talked about how the progressive party was kind of countering what was happening during the era.
they wanted equal opportunities and to control bigger corporations, but in the era, equal opportunities were hard because the big companies were controlling most things

lamp shades
veterinary anesthesia
