How was the act that said that each state may deside if it is free or not by populare vote taken away? There was no other "war" like this, but i did not think that it was completely taken away.

Can you explain in more detail the actual outcome of the Kansas- Nebraska act and Eli Thayer's response. Was there any violence against the settlers?

Who were the major players? Are Stephen. D. Dauglas, Eli Thyer, John Brown the people? If so, why?
